Tyler W. Potts has more than 20 years of professional experience in the areas of financial planning, wealth management, and investment analysis. He works with high-net-worth individuals, families, professionals, and business owners. His dedication to his clients and their families sits as the cornerstone to his philosophy of holistic financial advice. Tyler applies a collaborative approach to financial planning on his clients’ behalf. He believes that client engagement is critical to sustainable success in wealth management, asset accumulation, and wealth preservation. His knowledge in the areas of investment, retirement, estate planning, business succession, and charitable planning have helped him develop strong relationships with his clients.

Tyler has appeared on Fox Channel 61 in Hartford providing retirement planning advice and guidance.

Education

Tyler graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science from the Park School of Communications.

Affiliations & Community Involvement

Tyler actively gives back to the Old Saybrook community as a long-standing volunteer for local youth sports organizations. He has served as President of the Old Saybrook Soccer Club as well as a head coach in both soccer and lacrosse. Tyler has served on the Boards of both the Community Music School in Essex, CT and the Old Saybrook Racquet Club, and is currently a Trustee at The Williams School in New London, CT.

In his spare time Tyler enjoys skiing, playing golf, and traveling with his family. Tyler lives with his wife and three children in Old Saybrook, CT.
